Hey, They Have Pink M&Ms. Can't Complain TOO Much

October is breast cancer month, and every product's bathed in pink. Some survivors hate that. Why? Because they think that companies are using their disease as a marketing tool. And the pink wave celebrates, in a way, their misfortune. For Fran and me, with our history with the disease, it's still okay -- we know companies use it as a marketing tool and that charities don't get enough of the money raised by those things, but every penny helps. And as far as celebrating a misfortune, hey, if you've survived, every day is a celebration. But I can understand why some survivors aren't crazy about this.
