The news that cervical cancer is deadlier than previously thought is bad enough. The fact that it's never been more easy to catch early would be encouraging if not for the additional fact that the testing might not happen if people lose their insurance. And black women are far more likely to die of it, particularly because they don't get those early tests. Another item to throw into the mix when you're talking about health care and the ACA and the upheaval we're about to see; your listeners are intensely interested, and in some cases panicked, about what's happening to their health insurance.
