Some people are really good with directions. And some aren't. Apparently, there's a neurological disorder that causes some people to always get lost. This isn't just making a wrong turn; some people cannot even navigate their own homes. It doesn't present as brain damage, it's just something in the brain where the people don't develop the skill of following directions and can't even read maps. Think of the worst case of getting lost that you can imagine, and then imagine that being your default state at all times. Even a GPS won't help. (Washington Post)
