You're Rarely As Anonymous As You Think

What's the best course of action when someone insults you online? This plus-sized burlesque dancer posted pictures of herself online, and someone, who turned out to be a 15-year-old "tough guy," aggressively ripped her for being overweight. Her response: She tracked him down and emailed his father and headmaster. The dad didn't react well, saying that she should be ashamed for reacting and should have locked her Instagram account if she didn't want abuse. But the kid apologized after getting suspended from school. Was tracking down and shaming the shamer the right way to go, or should she have (figuratively) turned the other cheek? (CBC)
