Everything costs a little more these days, but the thing that's skyrocketed in price more than others seems to be theme park tickets, which have become insanely expensive. But it's supply and demand, isn't it? The parks are packed, so SOMEONE is willing to pay. It means poor people and now even middle class people are priced out -- I wouldn't be able to take a family to, say, Disneyland without taking a big, big financial hit -- but that's the way the market works, right? Or should there be some consideration for families on a budget? (Los Angeles Times)
