Overreaction much? A flight heading to Hawaii landed at LAX instead because an older gent asked for a blanket, was told it costs $12, and complained in a call from the plane to the airline that it was ridiculous and he'd be taking someone "behind the woodshed" for it, which the crew decided was a threat that warranted an emergency landing. They've never heard that expression before? Really? And, come on, TWELVE BUCKS for an airline blanket? (Los Angeles Times)
