Does He At Least Get Some Bonus Frequent Flyer Points?
-
There's video of a guy being forcibly removed from an overbooked United flight. Why was he being hauled off? Because he wouldn't give up his booked, paid-for seat for a United crew member who had to get to the other airport to serve another flight. But this really is on the airline for overbooking. I would never fight against being removed under the circumstances because you can't win that battle, but the airline should never end up in that situation in the first place, even if they have to routinely hold back seats in case crews need to get from place to place. Wait, what am I saying? They'd never lose revenue on a single seat if they didn't have to. (Louisville Courier-Journal)
