That's Not The F-Palace. Everyone Knows It's The 'Boom-Boom Room'
-
Remember that story a while back about a Comcast cable customer who got a bill addressed to "A-hole"? Others who got bills with similar insults? The company still has problems with that kind of thing, the latest being a family who discovered that, after a technician worked on their house, the set-top box in their bedroom was labeled with the location "F-palace." The company says that the label was put there by the previous possessor of the box and that the technicians had mistakenly not cleared everything off before re-installing. As for the family that received the box, the company offered $25 and two months of free cable, but Dad is demanding a meeting with the CEO, which apparently is not going to happen. I'd take the free cable. (Philadelphia Daily News)
