Good Thing MY Readers Are All Reasonable, Responsible People. You ARE, Right?

How would you feel if someone who did something really, really bad was a fan of yours? Washington Post cartoonist Tom Toles discovered that one of his cartoons was posted by the Congressional baseball gunman on his Facebook page. Toles explains how he sees it, and he doesn't feel responsible, nor should he. No matter how harsh his criticism of the President, it doesn't mean it was a trigger. But does that hold if someone, say, spreads a false conspiracy theory and someone acts on it? Like the guy who got whipped into a froth by Pizzagate and went to Comet Pizza with a gun -- do the conspiracy theorists who posted their inflammatory falsehoods bear responsibility?
