The headline indicates that the nonprofit that runs Brooklyn's Prospect Park is paying over $2 million to collect human poop. It's slightly more refined than that: They're installing composting toilets, which will collect said poop and hold it for, like, seriously, ten years while it breaks down, by which time they hope the law will change so that they'll be able to use the composted poop as fertilizer. That better happen, since otherwise they'll have a lot of broken-down poop and no place to put it. (New York Post)
