Not Sure When Air Travel Began To Resemble The County Lockup, But There Ya Go
-
Did we need more airline horror story news? Here you go, then, Air Canada being confronted over a situation where a toddler was refused access to the front cabin restroom, couldn't hold it, and was left to sit in her own pee for hours. The grandma says that she booked seats up front precisely for the child to be close to the lavatory, but that after a few trips, the flight attendant told her she couldn't use the first class lav anymore. I can see this both ways: On the one hand, having to go all the way to the back, especially when the drink cart's blocking the way or when there's a huge queue for the only two restrooms, is brutal and unfair. On the other hand, if you pay for first or business class, you're also paying for the right to have a restroom close and not have to wait in a queue with the economy riff raff, yes? The solution would be more restrooms for economy, but that will never happen. (CBC)
