They're Going To Drag This Out For Years, Aren't They?
-
Pennsylvania unveiled its new drivers' license design, and it's still not valid for air travel under the federal government's Real ID program. A few states are still holding out. They're holding fast to their principles -- they don't believe the feds should be dictating license standards to them -- but it inconveniences their residents if the waivers they keep getting run out. Eventually, they'll have to comply, and they're going to be offering compliant licenses as an option down the road anyway. So why hold out now? (WCAU-TV/Philadelphia)
