Here's a neighborhood pool that's turned green. No, it's not another foreclosure incident. This one's the pool that the homeowners' association is supposed to be maintaining. It's in Texas, where it's over 100 degrees and the people who pay their dues are livid that they can't take a dip. The management company apparently is ignoring the complaints, pulling the maneuver of claiming that each call to complain is the first they've heard about it. But now that a TV news troubleshooter's involved, there might be movement. For topic's sake, we're looking at yet another case where a problem is just flat out ignored by the company charged with doing something about it; how do businesses get away with the "so? What're you gonna do about it?" attitude? When did the customer become wrong? (KXAN-TV/Austin)
