You Say This Thing Is Called A 'Newspaper'? Didn't They Have Wi-Fi?

In Orlando, after a lot of public pressure, the city removed a Confederate statue from Lake Eola, and in doing so got a surprise: a time capsule that was included in the base of the statue when it was created in 1911. And as in all of these time capsule reveals, what was inside wasn't much: remnants of a flag, some money, newspapers, a list of members of the Florida Division of the Department of the Confederacy. Meh. Yeah, you could put together a list of what you'd put in a time capsule, but nobody ever puts anything GOOD in them, and by the time anyone finds it, the stuff's disintegrated anyway. Time capsules suck. (WKMG-TV/Orlando)
