Times on Sunday raises the question California, and the rest of the U.S.. has to address, pronto: What happens when, because of a dearth of available houses, people can't afford to live where they work? Who'll do the jobs? Where will they live? Will two-hours-each-way commutes be the norm? Will cities get over the NIMBY attitude and build affordable housing? (Los Angeles Times)
