Forget Self-Driving. I'd Pay Good Money For A Self-Parking Car
-
Here's a simple relatable topic: feeding the meter. The parking meter, that is, and while this article and radio piece from WNYC talk about its legality -- you can feed the meter all you want, but the legality involves the maximum time you're allowed to occupy a space, so it doesn't really matter -- there's another element to consider, the changeover to credit card meters which a) tend to be more expensive and b) let you adjust the time -- and in some cases add to it. And then there are the cluster meters, where you park and then go to a machine and enter your spot number and pay there. You know something? Parking meters are annoying. (WNYC/New York)
