Game 5 of the Cubs-Nats NLDS will start after 8 pm at Nationals Park, and if it goes three hours, there's going to be a problem that's plagued Nationals fans lately: The Metro subway shuts down at midnight, and the last train from Navy Yard station, the one a couple of blocks beyond left field at the ballpark, leaves at 11:48 pm. Extra innings? If you stay, you'll have to either pay surge pricing for an Uber, find a cab (good luck), walk (good luck), or bike (good luck) if you didn't drive and pay the expensive parking fee. The Nats COULD pay $100,000 per hour to keep the trains running after midnight for at least this game, but they aren't. Why are things like this so poorly planned? (Yahoo!)
