Big Deal, It Tells Time. My Phone Does That
-
Someone bought Paul Newman's Rolex for $17.8 million, and I was initially baffled at why anyone would spend that much on a watch. And then I found out that the watch is considered a landmark, the watch that launched the entire idea of vintage watches, rare, famous, legendary, exotic, the watch that collectors wanted the most. And then I STILL didn't really get it. I mean, sure, nice watch and celebrity connection, but it's a watch. Other than Apple Watches and Fitbits, does anyone really think about watches anymore?
