If You Don't Want Phones In Schools, You've Probably Already Lost That Battle
-
We're still debating cellphones in schools, with some parents appalled that kids as young as 6 might be allowed to bring phones to class and towns relaxing their bans on phones in the name of safety -- kids needing phones for emergencies as they go to and from school. Seems to me that we can easily deal with this: If schools have a problem keeping kids from using their phones in class, just get those pouches that they use at concerts to keep you from using your phone. Or have the teacher collect the phones at the beginning of class and hand them back at the end. This doesn't have to be a problem. (Washington Post)
