They Learn Fast These Days, Which Is Not Necessarily A Good Thing
-
An 11-year-old girl drove a truck into a home, and she said she did it to kill people. The cops couldn't believe she was calmly telling them that. Her family says she's autistic, and her grandmother thinks she was influenced by a TV cartoon and that the family had been hiding the keys to the truck because she'd tried to take the keys before. But the victims want to know how she managed to get the keys and where they were when this happened. Good questions. If she IS autistic, though, at what point on the spectrum does she get a pass and when should she be held responsible? (WDRB-TV/Louisville)
