Hide Your Dogs, Hide Your Cats
-
Used to be that coyotes mostly stayed in the woods and hills and didn't venture into the more populated areas. Now, around here, they're everywhere, brazenly strolling down suburban streets and eating cats and dogs along the way. (I've seen coyotes on my street, just walking right down the middle.) Residents want the cities to do something to control the coyotes. Not sure what they can do, short of killing them all. And it's a handy reminder that humans are encroaching on nature, so we can't expect nature to encroach back. (Daily Breeze, Torrance)
