Can't Really Get Past The Term 'Eye-Eating Parasite'
-
I've often advised you not to go on rides, whether at carnivals or theme parks. But that was because I a) can't quite get the amusement factor of being flung all over the place, and b) those things malfunction a lot. But I hadn't thought about another hazard until I saw this lawsuit in which a man says he got an eye-eating parasite from water splashing his face on a "whitewater rafting" ride. And, yeah, just imagine what kind of stuff is in the water at an amusement park. Not what you want to be hitting you in the face. (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette)
