Is Pot A Vegetable? Because That Might Be A Loophole

A Florida court of appeals has upheld a municipal law banning vegetable gardens in front yards, and one couple is challenging the law to the state Supreme Court. They say it's an unconstitutional infringement on their property rights. And, well, what WOULD the justification be for preventing people from growing edible things in their front yard? Aesthetics? Are vegetables unsightly? Would you mind if your neighbor had tomato plants and kale growing out front? (Miami Herald)
