Of COURSE Florida Just HAS To Be Different
-
Florida is moving ahead with consideration of a bill to observe Daylight Saving Time all year (and put the Panhandle counties in the same time zone as the rest of the state). The state can't do that alone; Congress and the U.S. Department of Transportation would have to approve it. Everyone else wants to get RID of DST. Naturally, Florida has to be different. And it means that Florida would be in the Atlantic time zone in "standard time" and Eastern in the Summer. Or something like that, I'm not sure. Can we just get rid of DST everywhere and be done with it? (South Florida Sun-Sentinel)
