Or Just Buy Everything You Need Once You Get There
-
This woman is a photographer who travels around the world and only packs a carry-on no matter where she's going; she wrote a book about it. I don't travel as much as she does, but I do travel a lot and I go carry-on-only for most of it. Not checking a bag makes getting out of the airport a ton faster and easier. But it helps that my wardrobe needs are limited; I never need to wear a suit or dress shoes. How you can go carry-on only for more than a few days, I don't know. If you have to repeat your clothing, how do you clean it? Do you want to spend time on your trip hand-washing your clothes and drip-drying them in the tub? (Although I do have some tricks and hints for that....) (CNN)
