That's Cold. (But Not Cold Enough)
-
The owners of a small seasonal Pittsburgh ice cream company locked up and went on a short vacation in January. When they returned, they discovered that the freezer had malfunctioned and all of the ice cream had melted, all of the inventory they planned to sell in the Spring. They've crowdfunded a loan to get them back on track, but if your entire business is predicated on one thing -- keeping the inventory frozen -- you really need an uninterrupted power supply, meaning a generator. Seems like a basic necessity. (KDKA-TV/Pittsburgh)
