Miami, New Orleans, L.A., Tampa, Vegas, Maybe Houston And Dallas. That Should Be The Rotation

A poll by American Public Media asked people outside the Twin Cities where the Super Bowl was held this year and whether it made a good impression, and the results were, um, mixed. Just over half knew the game was in Minneapolis, but as for whether it made them want to go there, 37% said yes, 29% said no, and the rest didn't know or care. The bottom line is that people know it's cold there in the Winter and that is a deal breaker for a lot of folks even if you thought things looked good there on TV. And as for the financial benefits, the jury's still out but when they say the number of visitors was about 125,000 UNLESS YOU COUNT LOCALS AS VISITORS, it's safe to say that the net result was not that positive.
