Most Students Can't Wait To Move OUT Of The Dorms
-
She dropped out or was booted from college, but she refused to move out of her dorm room. She hasn't paid the rent since 2016, and the school's trying to evict her. Her rationale appears to be that she didn't drop out and the school refused to register her after she contested her housing and tuition bill, and that she shouldn't have to pay off the $94,000 she owes before being allowed to register for more courses (the school's rules require the bill to be paid), but you can't just stay in a dorm room for life, can you? Although there were some people I knew in college who seemed to linger around for years after they'd graduated, practically living in carrels in the library. (New York Post)
