Insert Joke About Someone You Don't Like Right Here
-
An elderly guy went to the doctors with symptoms that aren't all that uncommon for someone 84 years old -- unsteadiness, weak limbs, that sort of thing. But nothing seemed out of the ordinary until they did CT scans and an MRI and discovered that he had an air pocket where part of his brain should be, which apparently is a thing and which we can all now become nervous about. This air pocket was ... and is... huge. It can be caused by several things, from a sinus infection to a benign tumor, although his is much bigger than the usual cases. And what's REALLY weird is that, despite the fact that he's effectively missing part of his brain, he's... okay. He's managing just fine. He didn't opt for surgery because of his age, and, so far, he's okay. Which explains how some people you consider brainless nevertheless seem to be able to function. (Washington Post)
