What can you do if a cop doesn't know the law? A mom in Montreal was in the car pool lane and got pulled over; she pointed out that she did indeed have a passenger, her daughter, in the back seat. But she got a ticket anyway, because the cop thought that the passenger needed a driver's license to count. That is not the case. Now, the mom has to go to court to contest a ticket she should never have gotten. Unjust traffic tickets are a universal thing -- everyone has a story, even if it's not quite as egregious as this one. (CBC)
