The charter bus accident on Long Island in which the bus, filled with high school students returning from a Spring break trip, rammed an overpass and sheared its top off may have occurred because the driver used a GPS and was unaware that the Southern State Parkway doesn't allow commercial vehicles and its bridges don't have high enough clearance for buses.
