Also Gotta Admire Someone Getting Paid For Piling Random Stuff
-
Public art is always... interesting. But shouldn't a governmental art body at least check the plans for an installation before agreeing to pay for and display it? That comes up because, in Clark County, NV (Las Vegas), the county paid for an art installation, only to tell the artist to remove it because... okay, are piles of empty boxes from Lowe's or piles of sticks art? Because that's what it was, and now the artist is understandably upset and the county is understandably not wanting a pile of dirty boxes in a public place and, again, this could have been avoided.
