You see stuff kicked up on the freeway all the time -- rocks, bolts, tire tread, other debris -- and, sometimes, it hits a car and might get lodged in the grille. But this one is unique: A guy driving on I-5 near Seattle found that a handgun got lodged in his car's bumper. The gun, lacking a magazine, was stuck barrel-first into the bumper. He felt and heard something hit the car, but he didn't think it was a big deal until 18 miles later, when he stopped for gas and discovered the gun, which might have been used in a shooting at a park that day. Doesn't get much freakier. (Seattle Times)
