Let's Not Even Talk About What'll Happen When Cars Drive Themselves
-
A study says that Uber and Lyft drivers in L.A. aren't doing so good: about half work at it full time and still struggle to make ends meet. Two-thirds say driving is their main source of income, and it doesn't cover the costs. Now, you could say that driving for ride-share companies was never meant to be a primary job, but if it's becoming that, would compensating them more fairly mean higher fares and thus less reason to take them over, say, a Yellow Cab? How can this be fixed? (Los Angeles Times)
