Four peacocks escaped the Philadelphia Zoo and were last seen walking on the Schuylkill Expressway. Police couldn't corral the birds. The peacocks aren't usually caged at the Zoo, so they have always had the ability to get out. This time, they did. If you live nearby and they're around, you'll know it. When you hear what sounds like bowling balls being dropped on your roof, call the zoo, the birds are up there. UPDATE: One was found dead, which is a shame. (Philadelphia Inquirer)
