Or Maybe They Just Really Have A Thing For Toyotas
-
We've gotten so many peacock stories lately that it's hard to keep up. Take this one from Surrey, a Vancouver suburb, where peacocks have been attacking cars, causing a lot of expensive damage. Why are they attacking cars? Well, "attack" is not quite the right word. See, it's mating season, they see their reflections in the cars, they think it's another peacock, and there it is. It's the same area where we had a story about a guy fined for cutting down a tree the peacocks used as a nest. The noise and car-humping are, clearly, problems. And the mating season runs from March through October, so it's not going to end anytime soon. (CTV News)
