Act Like Someone's Always Listening

Her 5-year-old son was getting poor grades and calling himself a "bad boy," and when his mom asked him why he called himself that, he responded that his teacher would call him that when he didn't do his work. Suspecting a bullying problem, mom went to the principal, who said she needed proof. So mom slipped a recorder in her son's backpack and got audio of the teacher calling her kid a "loser" and complaining that the mom was driving her crazy. The teacher denied she'd said or done anything, but tape don't lie. Would you take extreme measures like surreptitiously taping conversations to prove something like that? (Miami Herald)
