The fear that hurricanes are getting stronger has some climate watchers thinking we're about to add a Category 6 to the hurricane intensity charts. Some are pointing out that we really don't need another category since the current categories only indicate wind speed and the warming oceans are causing the storms to generate more rain and churn more water. Adding a Category 6 is the climatologists' equivalent of turning the volume up to 11. (South Florida Sun Sentinel)
