The Office IS The Lunch Room
-
The restaurant business is tough, which is why many very fancy restaurants are eager to join a growing operation that turns the restaurants into co-working spaces during their off hours. Places that are open for dinner only are opening all day to people with laptops who need a place to work. Users pay $99 a month if they pay for the year in advance, $129 by the month, and that's more expensive than camping out at Starbucks but way cheaper than office rent and more luxurious, too. It's a clever way to pull in a few extra bucks. (New York Times)
