Maybe He Was Unclear On The 'Non-Disclosure' Part Of The Non-Disclosure Agreement
-
On the HBO sitcom "Silicon Valley," a character spent much of the last season having run off to China with plans to rip off the main characters' business by stealing their idea for a "new Internet." In real life, someone did something similar... to Apple. That's brazen. The man, an Apple employee, allegedly tried to make off with plans for a self-driving car and was caught just before he could take a last-second flight to Beijing with the plans. He allegedly intended to go to work for an autonomous-car startup in China. It must be incredibly tempting for employees with access to trade secrets to steal them, but it's also incredibly amoral to do so. (USA Today)
