Take A Ride On The 405 And See If You Don't Rank L.A. Worst
-
A ranking of the Top 10 worst places in America to drive that ISN'T topped by L.A.? That ranks L.A. NINTH?!? You can guess that they didn't use traffic as the primary determinant. They threw in things like infrastructure, weather, safety statistics, gas prices, and more, and Detroit was the big winner (or loser). San Francisco and Oakland (considered separate markets for the study) were second and third worst, and Philadelphia was fourth. New York and Newark were seventh and eighth. Being an L.A. driver now and a former Philly and New York/Newark driver, I gotta say, Philly's not close to as bad as L.A. and New York, which should always be 1-2. (Cars.com via KARE-TV/Minneapolis)
