Verdict: it's hard, and it doesn't exactly change anything other than it makes you aware of how much time you spend looking at your phone. But you know you spend too much time looking at your phone. Anyway, the methods include no notifications for 24 hours, a day when you limit yourself to one phone check per hour, deleting apps and photos, changing to black-and-white for a day, and sleeping with the phone beyond arm's reach. None of that really made a difference. The only effective method is to lock the damn thing away. (Washington Post)
