You would assume corporations would WANT their employees to take the lowest fare when flying, but that hasn't turned out to be the case. Most corporate travel managers, it says here, don't let employees book those "basic economy" fares some airlines have instituted. Why? Because even they admit that if you're traveling on business, those seats are too small for work, don't have overhead space, and stress you out. Unhappy, uncomfortable workers make for bad business.
