It Wasn't THAT Much More Exciting In THEIR Day, TBH

Baseball has problems, that's for sure. But when you get an article that has a bunch of old-timers complaining that baseball's become unwatchable, I'm not sure that's helpful. Noted old fart complainer Goose Gossage, Mike Hargrove, ... seriously, these guys aren't on board for much of anything current. But what IS true is that games are getting too long, guys are using "launch angle" and ending up in strikeout-or-home run territory, shifts and endless pitching changes are annoying, and the people who run things have to be wondering if this is a cycle we'll get through or the way of the future, and if the latter, whether there will BE much of a future. Just don't let it become a get-off-my-lawn thing or it'll never get fixed either way. (Bleacher Report)
