Only In New York. Really, Only In New York
-
This might be the most New York of news stories ever: This guy's business, inherited from his father, is to move cars so they don't get parking tickets under the city's alternate-side-of-the-street parking regulations. See, in New York, many streets have hours where one side or the other is suddenly no-parking so street cleaners can pass. You have to move your car, in many cases double-parking on the legal side until the sides change. This guy does the moving, for a fee, for local residents and the teachers at a school who can't race out and move their cars themselves. Of all the New York traditions, this is the New Yorkiest.
