Now, Let's See Them Come Up With A Cool New Use For Beach Balls
-
Like many other places, Ontario has a law requiring motorists to stay a certain distance -- there, it's a meter, and in the U.S., it's generally the equivalent, three feet -- from bicyclists. But some motorists don't heed the law. How to keep them honest? Some bicyclists are marking the distance by attaching pool noodles to the back of their bikes, sticking out a meter so cars stay away. The cops say that it's not the best idea -- the noodles can slip and cause the bike to crash -- but absent a better idea, and because it's not illegal, it seems like a decent option. (CTV News)
