Shut Up And Diagnose

Part of the tension between political sides everywhere now is one side's feeling that tthe behavior they've exhibited for their entire lives is now being held against them. But when it's crude comments and behavior at work, should it EVER have been tolerated? In this case, a Canadian doctor has been suspended for incidents of crude jokes and sexual comments to patients that happened nine years ago and were reported two years ago. You could say he's being punished for things that were no big deal years ago. But maybe they should have been big deals. Really, how hard is it NOT to make stupid comments at work?
