How stupid do you have to be to hang a painting of the KKK's first leader Nathan Bedford Forrest in your office? You have to be as stupid as the Deputy Executive Director of the Veteran's Administration's Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, who "thought it was very nice" and says he only knew that Forrest was a "southern general in the Civil War." Sure. (And who wouldn't understand that "southern general in the Civil War" means Confederacy, which means support for slavery?) His staff is largely African-American, and, yes, they're adding this to their list of grievances, understandably so. (Washington Post)
