Or You Could Stay Home And See Them All Without The Hassle
-
On Sunday, Los Angeles had five major league (if you count MLS) home games in one day, a first, and these two guys attended all of them. It's a little bit of a cheat, since they didn't stay for the whole games (really, leaving the World Series to make it to a Clippers early-season game just to say you did it?), and Lord knows how much it cost, but it was also not really that hard, considering that all four venues (Kings and Clippers at Staples Center, Rams at the Coliseum, Galaxy at StubHub Center, Dodgers at Chavez Ravine) are along the same freeway (the dreaded 110) and reasonably close together. I guess they can say they achieved a sports first, but, again, one period of hockey, half of the soccer match, a quick stop at the Rams game, three innings of baseball, a run down to the Clippers, then a run back to the Dodgers game... they managed to miss most of the important parts of the game, including the Galaxy blowing a lead and the end of the Rams game with the fumble. Not as impressive as it may first seem. (Los Angeles Times)
