Let The Good Times Stop Rolling
-
A pie store had to close two of its three stores in the Columbus, Ohio area, but it's not because business was bad or rents too high. No, quite the contrary; business was booming. So why did they close? Not enough help. They couldn't find workers to do the work. It could be the downside of low unemployment or it could be that people just didn't want to work at a pie store chain. And it wasn't even a matter of finding skilled workers, because they really were short on warehouse workers and truck drivers. Whatever the reason, you don't often hear "too much business" as a reason for a store closing. (Columbus Dispatch)
